FULL DETAILS
Dolphin's Nose is one of Visakhapatnam's most distinctive natural landmarks. This rocky promontory rises prominently above the coast near Yarada and gets its name from its resemblance to a dolphin's nose when viewed from certain angles. The elevated location provides impressive views of the Bay of Bengal, Visakhapatnam Port and the surrounding coastline. A historic lighthouse stands on the hill, adding to its scenic and maritime importance. The area is also associated with the Indian Navy and therefore includes restricted zones. Dolphin's Nose is particularly attractive for visitors interested in coastal scenery, photography, viewpoints and maritime landmarks.
