Dolphin's Nose

Dolphin's Nose is one of Visakhapatnam's most distinctive natural landmarks. This rocky promontory rises prominently above the coast near Yarada and gets its name from its resemblance to a dolphin's nose when viewed from certain angles. The elevated location provides impressive views of the Bay of Bengal, Visakhapatnam Port and the surrounding coastline. A historic lighthouse stands on the hill, adding to its scenic and maritime importance. The area is also associated with the Indian Navy and therefore includes restricted zones.
